Women's Enrichment Ministries

WEM is dedicated to the spiritual, physical and emotional growth of women at FBC. We are women dedicated to equipping our sisters-in-Christ with the tools and opportunities they need to develop and strengthen friendships with other women and provide opportunities to serve the Lord within our church. In September, WEM will host its annual Kickoff event which includes the election of leadership. We are seeking volunteers for Assistant Director, Communications, Treasurer and Secretary. Come Study Isaiah Part 2 - Comfort for His People As Isaiah delivers God’s message of consolation, we will explore the hope of the coming Messiah, His universal kingdom, justice and restoration. Class begins Friday, September 17 ending Friday, November 19. We meet weekly in Room 219 from 9:30-11:30am. This class is open to all ;who want to dig deeper into God’s Word. The Karate Class at First Baptist Church of Las Cruces is continuing in the fall of 2010. Interested persons are welcome to attend. The class is oriented toward improved fitness and self defense. It’s time to begin planning a new children’s choir year and to do that we need your help.
